The summer program gave my son a great opportunity to learn new skills, meet great people and see some amazing sites around Arizona. The time my son spent at the camp gave him the confidence meeting new people and being exposed to different situations which was always very difficult for him. He has always been shy and this experience took him out of his comfort zone and gave him the confidence in making friends and being better prepared for the future.

LDI"s Summer Leadership Acadamy was a great experience I learned important skills that will help get a job and succed in college. I also made friends and learned about different disabilities and their experiences. Overall LDI's Summer Leadership Acadamy is a great place and the people are diverse

Life Development Institute has positively impacted my son's successful transition to adulthood and I highly recommend their services and programs. By attending LDI's Summer Leadership Academy twice on scholarship, my son has gained relevant and useful knowledge about all areas of his life ahead and the guidance he has received is a blessing. Life Develpment Institute has changed our lives. They have been with us every step of the way in terms of helping us establish education, social and psychological goals for our autistic son. We were so happy to find LDI and even happier when we discovered their highschool age program.There was no way our son would have survived the public high school system. I’m so grateful to LDI for helping US to continually grow as a family with disabilities and abilities. We love the staff❣️

We found out about LDI at an AZ Assist meeting and my son and I started attending monthly speaker series meetings. My son was completely frustrated with previous educational experiences and had quit an online school but became interested in what he was learning about LDI so he spoke with admissions and let them know his concerns and they urged him to set up a meeting with the husband of the ownership team. It was the first time I had known my son to "want" an education. Here we are a year later and my son has learned so much. He uses public transportation, he is an exceptional student, and he is about to start his first job. LDI works with their students to garner independence and set and reach their goals. Everyone you encounter from the office manager to the student advisors are genuine and willing to assist the students set and meet their goals. LDI offers an educational experience with self driven life skills and opportunities to attend fun events and give back to the community. It's a great place!

After Highschool we really were not sure what direction we would go with our son. LDI not only helped us with direction but helped him flourish expeditiously. We are truly so grateful for our LDI experience.

My son has been at LDI for 20+ yrs. Overall I’m pleased with LDI, although I feel there has been a constant turnover of staff and the guidance he needs depends on his current counselor.

Are family has had a great experience with life development Institue my son was on online school and it didn't work for him until we discovered this program. My son has high functioning autism. And it was tough on him at first but now he has made great leaps. He is more confident happy what can I say. The staff is awesome. And had been my life line. I recommend them 100 percent

My son spent 3 years in LDI. He was resident for his last year and a half. He made positive strides in maturity and personsl interactions. Before LDI he was arrested twice, since then he has learned to control himself better. He held a job for the last two months of school. My son was diagnosed with ADHD, but had other issues. These were the best grounding years of his life. Without LDI there is no telling what bad things could have happened. My son is not perfect and either am I, but now we both have more of a chance.

The Post-Secondary Program at LDI continues to provide the support my daughter needs on an ongoing basis. I am more than pleased with the program and staff, as it has been a life changer. She entered the Secondary Program with issues that seemed unsurmountable at the time, and seamlessly transitioned into the Post-Secondary Program. She has emerged as a competent young adult who has completed college, is presently employed, with a future of accomplishment ahead of her. It is doubtful that she would be where she is now if not for the engaged and caring staff at LDI.

They offer an exceptional service. I highly recommend this school.
