I want to say step one recovery is helping my boyfriend have his life back . He has been there almost a month and it is great to see the staff showing there compassion towards there fellow friends. They are a blessing to me and my boyfriend showing he is capable of staying sober . I can't thank them enough for giving him a chance to live a positive and wonderful spark I never thought he can get back . Thank you Step one and the staff you all rock :)!

I worked as part of the support staff for three years, and I've been in social work for over 10 years. I've seen this staff go above and beyond expectations for their clients, the problems come from clients that are not ready to accept rules and structure needed for their recovery. These rules are set in place for everyone's safety and recovery success.

This place saved my life. When i was new to recovery, this was the first place i went to. Best decision i ever made. The foundation and fundamentals they taught me are the reason i am still sober today. The staff cares deeply about the residents. Whatever you put into this program is what you'll get out of it.

as a resident here I have been to many places to try to enter recovery and I have never been to a place that is so helpful to someone who is trying to fix and turn their lives around I have seen ppl come and ppl go, however guess why they left cause they couldn't get past step one, they were in denial. they felt they weren't addict's, I was sent here from community bridges after being sick and tired of being sick and tired . those who can't be successful here are those who can't completely give them self to this simple program, usually men and women who are incapable of being honest with themselves. they showed me love when I had nothing but hate in my heart. thank you for suggestions that saved me and my family from break in up I thank you for caring and showing me love.

Last week my brother informed me that after an extended stay at Step One that he had to vacate the next day. I am in no financial situation to help him and he is without money and in need of mental health assistance...I cannot stress how amazingly wonderful a man named Donny was as a help to my brother and me.
